At Lifeplan, we promote the use of Advocates, to help our customers. This may be to assist them in their service with Lifeplan, if they would like help with a complaint, or to have support if there is a serious incident.
The Australian Government has an online Advocacy Finder. This is a free, online resource, which provides the details for Advocates within a geographical area. You can find it at:

Lifeplan staff will provide information about Advocates at intake, if there is a complaint or an incident involving a participant or their support network, as well as when Advocacy information is requested.
